I heard this effect in a tune the other day and thought that it sounded really cool. I know it is done with an LFO, but don't know what exactly I would need to automate/tweak to achieve the end result. I have both V-station and Vanguard, could anybody explain how to get this great FX in any of those please?
Thx.

I'm sure that it would benefit quite a few of us on here, if one of you pro's was to give us a quick explanation of how this is done.
Thx.

P.S. From which track is that sample? |

I don't believe that's an LFO there. What you're hearing is a looped sample increasing in speed. |

Yea its the loop speed |

Thanks for the help DJ Palm. How would you go about producing this effect then? I have battery 2 and I also have kontakt, would any of them be good for doing this in. Or should I just use the good old Fruity Sampler. I take it, its two different samples at different pitches then?

I'm not familiar with Battery or Kontakt but if you are able to, try loading a short vocal clip into the sampler, set it to a constant fw-fw loop and use the pitch bend to modulate it's speed. |
