I my self dont own a micro-Q, and it seems to be hard to get where im at, but i know what it can do and i love the sound of it, though i dont think the Komplexer can compete with the Micro-q, i think itīs worth to have i my vst collection :D and it will be fun to see how my cpu will work, do you think 2.8 Ghz will be enough?
And the Vengeance Trilogy - Q soundsets are PHAT!! :toothless |

definately looks interesting ;)
the two most important things on a vsti, the sound (obviously) and the GUI. I hate when it has either one or the other. I hate when there is a really good vsti around but interface looks cheap...if you're selling for like $199, couldn't you hire an artist to make it look pretty?
anyways, this looks nice! so hopefully the sound department will be equally as nice. |

I couldnt find the link me self, but i friend of mine had in some way come over it, so i got it from him via msn. Sorry
One small thing i missed was something to controll both filters at the same time, and can agree on that its not a nice design on it, and i can say that its not a nice in real as it is in the picture, BUT it is one of the best sounding vstīs ive heard. So pretty or not, i want it :toothless |

These guys really don't want you to buy this synth, they're doing everything in their power to make it hard for people to find out about it. I've tried the demo (which I downloaded from some shady web page, since there is no "official" place where the demo can be found :S ) and it's really sweet, it's a nice hybrid FM and subtractive synth, capable of some really fat sounds. CPU usage was low most of the time (even with unison sounds and several oscillators running), but it would spike up to 100% once in a while, and crashed my computer once, it was pretty bugged...
My best guess is that Terratec announced it as "released", released a demo, but then retracted their previous statement and decided to fix some bugs before final release.
...either that, or they're really REALLY stupid and decided to trash the whole project :p (not likely since there are hundreds or trousands of people waiting for this synth). |

I agree, it was when the so called "demo bug" they put in to it when my computer said NO!! :p it cuts the sound sometimes, but the promotion of it is really bad, and it says that you can buy it, but if you look in thair webshop, it doesnt exist! |

Yeah, it's a bit bizarre.
Actually have managed to get a hold of the demo now. Bear in mind that it is version 0.99, so maybe they are ironing out some bugs or something?
I think someone probably got a hold of it at the Musikmesse, and now it's been passed around, cause there is no sign of any "offical" demo site anywhere.
Actually, about to go have lunch with a friend who deals with Terratec, so will see if he has nay news.
PS: Demo? Try looking over at KVR....
