Hey everyone, since I bought an SUV, I've decided not to try install my system in it, so I'm having a liquidation sale.

Swamp, I know there's a forum for this, but I'll be home in two weeks, so I'm hoping to sell this when I'm in town. I'll close it then if you'll leave it up in here for that long.

Free delivery to the GTA April 20-21 :thepirate

If anyone has any questions, my MSN is iamsodigital. Thanks!

Pioneer Premier in-dash MP3/WMA CD player - DEHP840MP.
The warranty is still valid for another year. This stereo rocks! 4x50 watts, 3 pairs of 4v preamp outputs. The display shows Artist, Title, Bitrate, Time (from ID3 tags). The stereo looks sleek with the silver face closed up, just showing the time on the face, but when it is opened, it gives you a wealth of controls, and a slick display with animated screensavers, such as cars racing and a jetski ride with dolphins jumping in the water.
$225US

I also have the CD-CM1 cell phone mute device made by Pioneer. Just connect this to the appropriate wire on the head unit, and when your cell phone rings, it will mute or ATT (silence) the volume. It cost $35 new...I'll throw it in with the head unit.

(2) JL 12w3d4 (dual voice coil) free-air subwoofers.
$175US/both
These speakers have taken such a beating, and never let me down. I took my spare tire and jack out of the well in my trunk and cut a piece of MD board to fit over it, and used it as an enclosure. It was so tight that when you pushed on one sub, the other pushed up. The black subs are a bit faded, but they still pound like mad.

Eclipse Point Source 5.25" door speakers and 6x9" speakers
$179.99US and $269.99US retail. Worth every penny! I will never, EVEREVEREVER buy ANY OTHER speakers than Eclipse Point Source. I LOVE these things! They have a tweeter right in the middle of the woofer, and a built-in crossover distributes the power evenly.
$350US for all four speakers. (This ing hurts...I seriously love these speakers, even more than Jack Bauer.)

Orion 400 watt (100x4) amp
I ran this to 4 Eclipse Point Source (2 - 5.25 and 2 6x9) speakers for my front stage. This amp worked out perfectly! I split all of this power between the 5.25s and 6x9s, and they took everything I gave them! Kill the lows (bass) to your front stage, and they'll last forever.
$150US

Orion 400 watt (400x1) amp
I bridged this ****** and pounded the out of those subs. It performed as if I was rockin' 4 12" subs, because, being dual voice coil speakers, that means that each VC occupies one channel of your amp. I doubled the power, then doubled it again. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
$175US

1.0 farad Lightning Audio capacitor
$50 (or I'll throw it in free if someone buys everything else)

The amps, cap, and a fuse block are all affixed to an MDF board (very, very, strong wood) right now, and I won't take them off of it just yet in case someone buys everything, because it's a very strong and sturdy board.

I really wish you'd have posted this a month ago before I set this up a new system for my car :(

Good luck with it!

Good idea on not installing the gear. SUV's already are targets for B&E/theft - let alone one loaded with electronics.

I saw an Escalade with the driver's window smashed and all the gear torn out about 2:15 am after MANDY on Sunday night. It was parked behind the Hooters.

lol...i'm putting in a JL stealth box with an amp in the hidden cargo box.

Double-DIN/touch screen MP3/DVD player ftw.

I'll probably get the Eclipse Point Source 6.5s as well.

Shade..sorry guy. Glad you already hooked up with some gear.

damn, this is the equivelant of a Shorty system in your car! someone get on this deal before he replaces these kickass speakers with some average ones.... and tells no one about it....

if you have any questions at all, even about how it might work with a certain system you have or might have in mind, just ask.

The big plus about MP3 CD players is that they accept data CDs with either MP3 or WMA files on them, along with regular audio CDs.

Data CDs typically have a capacity of 700MB, so you can fit approximately 65-75 EDM tracks on one CD, or about 7-10 hours of DJ sets, in one big file or several, meaning that you will never have to break up those big DJ sets in order to play them in your car!

The above estimates are based on filesize and bitrate. To make it easy - whatever equates to 700MB, burn it onto a data CD and stick it in!
