I was like 30 mins into recording a set and had just started to beatmatch a track when I moved my hand from my mixer to the right cdj and my finger hit the cue, effectively ruining it. I feel like getting vinyl now.

I just accidently pressed "play" while almost finishing a set, I just edited the track to make it less obvious ;)

I keep the crossfader in the middle and use the up and down faders. Every once and a while Ill knock the crossfader with my hand or headphone chord. :whip:

I have experienced the cue button pain in the ass with the switch to CDJ's.. :stongue: Part of the process.. ;)

And with serato, loading the song onto the wrong deck!! lol :)

Plus we have to deal with needle skipping as well! I usually just have a we peek at the mixer if i'm not 100% sure.. Obviously.

Only thing that's happened to me has been ejecting the CD a couple of times.

how about when the cd skips when youre trying to beatmatch? or accidently move the tempo when youre trying to do something on the mixer?

wow i just realized a solution: have mixer and cd player away from each other.
