I have now moved from Sense Generate Sundays to ETN at the same time and this week, my show will be featuring the very special guest, Simon Patterson (of Dogzilla).... http://www.etn.fm/etn3.asp at 9PM(ET)/2AM(GMT)

With a background based in the music business that belies his years Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to his work behind the decks.
Having built a solid reputation as a tastemaker for Radio 1 Djs Seb Fontaine and Judge Jules, Simon has gone on to forge his own career in club land, becoming both a sought after Dj and producer/remixer.
Playing a tough, intelligent blend of deep tech-trance and tough roof blowing tunes from the world’s best production houses Simon is forging a serious career in dance music.
It is as one half of remix/production duo Dogzilla that Simon is creating a path with a new and futuristic sound that is filtering through to the more intelligent dance floors on the trance scene
Taking elements of cutting edge electronic and melding them with rock has created rapturous enthusiasm from the likes of Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Oakenfold and mentor Judge Jules.
Mr Pattersons solo excursion ‘F-16’, is a heady trancer with an emotive undertone. Theres quite a buzz surronding this track. Entering number 15 in the DMC buzz chart is quite an achievement, its been many months since a trance track was seen in this co called "cooler" chart. With support on the radio from Marco V, Armin and Jules - including being played twice in one night on the BBC Radio 1 essential mix, this release once again sets the standards for others to follow. F16 is set for release on uber-cool Dutch imprint ‘Spinnin’ in April.
The last five years has seen Simon travel across the globe rocking many of the world’s better parties. Highlights include the Rotterdam Street Parade in front of 500,000 people, regular appearances at Judgement Sunday in Ibiza and in Russia where Simon played at an indoor event for 20,000 Muscovites.
Simon is currently resident a two of the most prestigious UK fixtures; Serious (London/various) and Inside Out (The Arches, Glasgow), a sure sign he is a DJ in the ascendancy.

ive found plenty of stuff cut from my show and my sets in the past, no joke! even some of my own productions! haha... not that i mind, on my part, it only helps further my name, but for Simon's sake, i wouldnt want to keep his 192KBPs set open to cuts and reconstructions, especially since he played a lot of upfront and original stuff....
....with that being said, i have YAHEL on this week!!!! so that should be interesting! |
