In todays news, Cheney's former top aide told prosecuters that President Bush authorized the leak of sensitive intelligence information about Iraq.

The President revealed classified information for political gain & put personal & Republican interest's ahead of America's security, and can no longer be trusted to keep America safe. HE SHOULD BE IMPEACHED & TRIED IN CRIMINAL / or MILITARY COURT FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCES OF TREASON, AND LYING TO CONGRESS!!!

And God told George Bush that his destiny is to be President. Bull!!!

No, I was just thinking how impossible it would be for Bush to get charged with treason.
Q5echo

Firstly... If Bush himself gets put up for treason.. His whole administration should too.

Maybe treason is a little harsh ... is there a slightly less severe alternative??

How do you punish people for moral indescretions which are still inside the law?

What Bush did was legal. He had the information declassified before he leaked it. Many Presidents have done this in the past. I don't agree with what he did since it was to attack someone else, but seems like Bush did do it legally.

What happened with the Libby leak might have been technically legal just hypocritical and unethical.
