Liquid a dead art unfortunately, I loved it, but yes, lots of mirror practice required. For a good pop and lock primer, Kazaa lite or Limewire "Darrin's Dance Grooves" and you should see the pop 'n lock for download... it's a 60mb file if I can remember. Once you have the routine down, it looks silly doing it alone at the club, so you need your gf to synch or someone else who knows the routine. But you can vary it yourself dep on the music.

Only when I'm whacked...and at trance events...Whenever I see them at house/techno parties I get tempted to throw my shoes. :clown:

2) The move that guy's doing is lame... anybody can learn that in 10 minutes. There are much better looking things to do than that.

3) If he used a proper grip, he'd be able to go a lot faster. With the stick fully extended like that, they're a lot heavier going around corners.

Conclusion: he's not that great, and anything involving moving lights looks cool under time-lapsed photography. Photos don't do it justice at all; I'd need to see this guy in person to determine if he's got any real skill.

trust me that pic doesn't give him justice i've seen him in action and LOL he is one of the best of seen.

I was there when that "incident" happened, first i was watching in embarrassment but it quickly became shock then it quickly became amazement.

LOL Graham is one of the best glowstickers i've seen.

but good luck getting him to do that again, it will never happen unless:disbelief

Keep chirping. Due to my gino-bambino past, I used to be a serious glowstick ninja back in the day. Anyone who has been around for a couple of years can attest to that. I don't glowstick at all anymore, except once in a blue moon when I feel like surprising people by showing them that this house snob has "glowsticking skillzzz". You can rate my picture all you want. I don't really give a what someone thinks of my glowsticking skills on the intarweb. All I know is that I've made many a sketch bag litterally fall over from my "1337 lightshow skillzzz".

And Jamie, I obviously posted what I did in jest. Hence the ":thepirate".

lol I hate when people who don't know wtf they're doing play around with glowsticks.

a couple months ago at the gallery this guy was trying give this girl a show...and all he did was slap her face like 50 times to a point where she became upset and told him to go away.

good times.

I never really understood the benefit of having some stranger come up to you and wave flashy lights in front of your face. What is it supposed to do to you? Does it heighten.....certain things?
Djsketchbag
personnaly i don't mind them that much i use to love em when i first started partying but now i'm like there ok... but i still love em when i'm "whacked" lol...... plus i hate the ppl get get right in your personnal space with them.

Heheh. Well, if people are never willing to show anyone, we'll never know. I'm more than willing to show off; I don't see what's so wrong with having a little fun just because it's "not cool anymore". Of course you've gotta have respect for other people.

Grahamers, I know man... LOL... but I had to post that pic simply bc it was too good of a photo of you busting the glowsticks... combined w/ ur intensity of your jest post... it was just too 1337 perfect!
