"When I was on "The View", Barbara Walters was asking me about the blood and stuff, and I said, 'Well, you know, that's a staple of Japanese cinema.' And then she came back,'But this is America.' And I go, 'I don't make movies for America. I make movies for planet Earth.'" -Quentin Tarantino

I don't have a particular hero but I have role models. They would be people that go through a lot of crap in their life and don't use that as an excuse. They perservere and make themselves better people because of it. I also look up to people who can use their negative experiences to help others in the same situations and not just for financial gain.

who's richard branson? what has he accomplished beyond wot you just said briefly?
complete self made billionaire... owner and founder of the Virgin companies. He also owns one of the sickest tropical islands for his amazing summer home on necker island!

Not including Quentin Tarantino, I'm surprise no one here has any heroes of people that have actually done something meaningful, besides being a great sports star, or a self made billionaire. Granted Branson's sponsored lots of very cool stuff that may in the end be of benefit to humanity, but nothing's surfaced so far. VIrgin Galactic, we'll have to see how that little adventure goes. But other than that, these aren't really extraordinary people. Why do you worship them as heroes? What's so heroic about what they're doing with their lives? Maybe role models would suit better...?

Yea, Quentin Tarantino's work is really meaningful!

The only heros are those that give their lives to protect their country.
