Only complain was the line outside... It was not big at all, but took us quite a while to get in and it was freezing outside.
Issues with guest list too, but we got on it rather late, so no one to blame here I guess...
Other than that the night was awesome! Porter killed it with the very energetic house set. This guy enters my "should not miss when he's in town" category. |

Sporter was his typical let's get down, dirty & funky self! always love his witty attitude and fun energy behind the decks! i was surprised he even still remembered when i got the pathfinder towed 2 years ago after a 3 day binge, and he came to get it out of the pound @ 4am at cherry beach with me. :crazy: hehehe! never a dull moment with this guy! aaah good times!! :p
excellent to run into part of the miami crew as soon as we came in. SO glad you're all back! partying is never the same without you guys! great to meet your sis as well jon! ;)
other than that, this was my first time at TiL. the club is definitely a beautiful venue. high ceilings, lots of room to dance, sound seems to be good too...AAAAND you can smoke!! yay!!
and btw - marge...your nikki beach mojito is killing my brain today!!! *ouch* :whip: LOL! |

Mornin'!
After deciding to go out very late last night I am so glad I did! What a fun fun night indeed.
- TIL needs to work on guest list. I could run circles around that girl with the clipboard.
- Vibe was perfect, just enough people, great friends, everyone was so friendly and no pervy guys.
- Copeland played a lovely warm up set, was able to start off nice and slow and get everyone worked up for Porter. I found their sounds very complimentary to each other, but would have loved to hear more from Copeland. Possibly in the end?
- Porter was sick! Holy what a mind blowing melange of tunes he played last night. My plate was full with a little bit of everything, exactly what I love from a night out.
- I was digging SB but didnt really find her sound fit in with the two gentlemen who played before her. Thunderstruck was wicked though, I rocked out hard, bahaha.
- Jon and Margs I will never forget your faces when I told you Rod Stewart was the next track, how the hell did I know that? "If yaaa want my body, and ya think im sexxxy!"
- Nice to meet you again Silke!
- Just an FYI, if I talked to you about my awesome new ear plugs and gave you a progress report on how they were working for me, im so sorry. LOL, I will never dance with naked ears again!

if the crowd and club was like last night every time, this place would be top notch.
i had a hard time getting into it. that was my own fault though. copeland did a great opening. fully enjoyed SP set. like the first 30 or so minutes of sydney blu, but did not like thunderstruck and that we left shortly after
as mentioned, the crowd was amazing. no pushy, snotty, annoying ppl. fell in love with an adorable little blonde chick. bouncers were nice, tons of space..all in all a good night. would have been great if i was up to par heading in |
