Really nice remix you've got here!
This is different from your previous work, and it's great!
Love the drive, this would make me jump high at the dancefloor. :p
I like the intro, builds up nicely.
Still love what you did to those rolling break percs from the original.
I like the way you make the turn at ~3mins! And the break is great.
The mixdown seems very bassheavy and loud in my headphones...
The piano could definitly need a volume raise.
The piano sounds alot better now, when its clean from distortion, and i'm glad you used the whole original piano part.
I'd love to see more like this from you in the future ;)

My first thought was that it is clipping , im not sure, the bass seems very heavy. It's your style alright though, its very cool. I like the breakdown, the melody is excellent. I think it should have been introduced throughout the song more. The piano is nice, perhaps it could be used more too.
Overall a nice track, but still I think your last techno track was your best. |

ricky- the mp3 does clip. i rendered it far too loud:) - i have sorted the final out and its a lot cleaner.. - glad you still like 'manhunt':)
i was balancing seeing my girlfriend and making this rmx for mr takkra.. so both missed out on my full attention while i was doing this.. i need to do a better master job i think..
played this on sat night and it worked the dancefloor a treat! but i had to boost the mid and high on the mixer by 6db!

woow, awesome kick.. im digging the wooden perc thingy, lovely.. bass is nice too.. the synth at 2:20 is great.. i love the melodies and stuff..
great production, but i feel its going nowhere.. there no real main part.. i was expecting everything to just kick in.. but could be u intended it to be this way.. good production nevertheless..

Impressive, mate. Again, we see a Rich style bassline that's basically a resonant hum than a bassline from the get go. I like the subtle bassline after the hum one is finished, as the gated effect returns with the original.
The rolling percussive elements do wonders to the track's energy and vibe.
I'm very impressed with the subtleties of your mixing nowdays. You seem to have improved lightyears since I first heard you.
The bandpass synth/bass is great. Very phat, and I like what you did with it during the breakdown.
IMO, 3:30 was the main part of the song, I don't know what everyone else is talking about! :crazy:
The kick is perfect, man... it's good to these ears. |

i was quite proud of the kick - my comp use is getting more efficient now. it stood up to most of the commercially released tracks i played along with this on my set on sat.
my style is now very progressive so doesnt really go anywhere. but takkras awsome samples he sent really build the drive this has.
i am happy with what i did bandpass wise with takkras main bass synth. i used the sample twice, with one doing mid high and chopped around and the other doing the bazz:)

Anyway. Ill review after the 54th(!) listen..
I love the techno'ish oink in the beginning, really great kick. that dark pad is soo nice. you made really good use of the percs :)!!!
great fx's coming in.. nice to hear the bass rolling in hehe :D! youve cleaned everything good :o.. I wish I could do that hehe..
very nice and driving :D!! im now @ 2:00.. arrangement is done very well! the chopped up bass is just wow :) you already knew that ;)..
thats one cool break youve got there :)! whoah that pad that plays an octave higer fits really nice!! I think the piano could be a bit louder, just in the main break.. after the kick comes in it sounds sweet the way you re-edited it :)!!
