rude? sure, tasteless? at times. dumb? not a chance. southpark is an extremely intelligent show. you just have to read between the lines.
in addition, they often take a very moral stance on current issues. the show is highly regarded for its 'tolerance' and also just one a peabody award for Excellence In “Politically Incorrect Satire”
edit: but i do understand its not everyones cup of tea. |

yaya I know.
Im not oblivious to the fact that it is an educated show and it does focus on some pretty important issues, politically and socially but I just have a hard time geting the jokes. I have a good sense of humour, but the timing, delivery and content (alot of the time) just doesnt make me laugh. |

totally fair comment.
family guy is alright. it makes me laugh, but not all the time and not on the same level as southpark. |
