2 x technics SL1210 M5G
1 x numark DXM 06 mixer
1 X technics DJ-1200 headphones..
anywayz .. anyone out there know a decent mixer with a auto Bpm counter on it .. hahah i think im relying too much on it .. but if i can't find one .. i think ill stick to the numark dxm06 :toothless |

| wait is the m5g's pitch less accurate? also what about the djm 300s it has an auto bpm counter actually most pioneer model mixers have auto bpm counters |

| do NOT depend on the auto bpm counters to beatmatch!!!!! the only thing i ever use that for is to just set the starting track at 136bpm or whatever. otherwise i never use it. do not depend on the auto bpm to beatmatch or anything. i think the djm300 is a decent mixer for the money. check out the djm400 as well or a used djm600 |

Seconded. The only time I ever use them now is to check the BPM the mix is currently at. Never rely on them to beatmatch, you will own yourself hardcore later on down the track if you do. |

| lemme be the first to tell you that the whole m5g is less accurate because it's digital stuff is absolute hogwash. sure, it may hold some water in theory, but in reality (that's what matters in the end) you will never tell the difference. everytime my turntables make it out to a party, i get compliments on how accurate they are, and how it's so sexy to mix w/them. |

| i'd say go for mk5's the analogue pitch reset button is ace for making little corrections;) |

| ahh... thats the prob .. lolz.. each turn table have their own good features.. thats the really hard thing about deciding which one to get.. the MK5 is a cheaper turntable .. but its overall one of the better ones out there ... the M5G is a little more ex.. but it has more feature .. and a better tone arm .. and a computereized digital pitch... though rumour sed its not really accurate.and it looks better... looks like im back in square one . |

im still abit more swayed towards to M5Gs..but who knows .. i may end up with a set of MK5s..
hahah i think what i need is for someone to smack me across the head .. and tell me what to get.. |

Personally i dont see why you would have the need for these whats wrong with good ol' mk2s?
Unless these will see near club use i would rather spend the money on a better mixer. |

| nah man ... i already have another amount of cash set aside and saving up for a better mixer ... but not now .. also when i do upgrade my gears and stuff i only wanna upgrade the mixer .probably throw in a couple of CDjs. but not the turntables .. thats why i rather get a really good one now .. |

I baught second hand techs. They where about 10 yrs old and i dont see why they need upgrading :toothless.
If you like the extra comfort then go for it though. |
