Music Fans,
In the summer of 1990, Mondo Music opened and began what was to be a 16 year run of supplying music enthusiasts, DJ’s and producers alike, with all of their music and accessory needs. We have grown tremendously over the years and have loved serving each and every one of our customers. We have made so many friends and have watched many of you grow from children to mature adults, both in the club community and as DJ’s , Producers, and Remixers.
Recently, our building was sold. A new lease or relocating is not a possibility for us given the present state of the music industry. To continue paying a higher rent and guarantee a longer lease would be much too risky of a proposition for us to take on at this time.
That being said, Mondo Music will close its doors on April 29th, 2006. We have slashed prices on all vinyl and CD’s effective immediately and will start sale pricing on most everything else so if you had your eye on something or need to stock up on any DJ supplies, now is the time. We will also open our back stock vinyl room to the public, for the first time ever, for mass liquidation of thousands of 12 inch imports.
We would like to thank any and all of you that have ever shopped at Mondo Music and would especially like to thank our loyal and steady customers who have shopped with us on a weekly basis for many years. You have all contributed to what was the proudest job I could have ever have asked to be a part of.
I wish you all the best of health and happiness in your journeys and thank you for making my life so special and completely fulfilled for 16 years.

Wow. Mondo is actually somewhere I frequented for quite a while. Maybe not the best selection for my style of music, but it was fun going in every Tuesday and Friday for the 2 years I went there.
I basically am almost all digital now so my Mondo trips ended a while ago. I was just spending too much time there finding nothing.
Dave and Mario were the 2 faces behind Mondo and did a good job. Mario would even walk you around the store after he figured out your tastes and pick some stuff out for you.
Anyone in the area should pay a visit if for nothing else to try and score some deals on bags or equipment.
They carry Slappa CD cases which, if your digital, is the best CD case for DJs. Any sale on those is worth it.

6.99 for domestics
10.99 or 11.99 for imports
i dotn know what their closeout prices would be. i am going to ride over their soon to check out whats left.
they have UDG bags as well. |

| Mmhhh, I need CD cases and those Slappa ones are pretty good, they don't have an online shop or anything like that? I'm in MA and can't drive to Jersey just for some CD cases:p |

Vinyls and CDs are all buy one get one free.
They should have a pretty good back-stock of trance if anyone can get there. |
