That site really is disgusting...
Heroin probably the dirtiest drug. I know this guy who was addicted to it for about 30 years, he's only about 45 - 50 years old but he looks like he's 65 or more and has only got two teeth... |

in high school there was this girl in my class..... the kind of raver girl ....she was a cool girl very nice she was just using pills but then she tried with her new bf heroin ....1 month after she was dropping school and running away from home .She began to live in the streets with her bf in squats with other drug addicts.I saw her several times in the center of the town begging for money
I heard about her by her ex best friend in january ....she was about to go to rehab :( |

Heroin itself doesn't make your teeth fall out or your flesh rot. What happens is people become so addicted that they no longer care about getting their daily intake of fresh fruit or having that infected scratch looked at. Also when drug dealers mix heroin with other substances to increase their profit they use all sorts of substances which often are quite harmful.
Do remember that the majority of heroin users are actually casual users who also manage to hold down a job. The criminalisation of heroin use alienates these people and pushes them into an underclass where they start to cause serious problems to society (and not just themselves). I knew a successful real estate agent (drove a brand new merc) who was a regular heroin user - eventually he died of an overdose, a common fate as illegal heroin supplies are not regulated.
This article is clearly propaganda, the photo of the deformed kid and the caption clearly suggests that heroin use leads to those kinds of deformities. As far as I know this has not been proven. |
