Mass Murder: 8 found dead on farm near London, Ontario

8 people found dead on a farm in what appears to be an organized crime hit in Southern, Ontario in the town of Shedden.
Back in 1999 when I lived just outside of Leamington, I woke up, grabbed the news paper off my porch and seen my nextdoor neighbour on the front page of the Windsor Star Newspapaer for a double homicide ( appearently they had a cottage in St. Josephs Island where the burnt remains of 2 missing hitch hikers were found ).
Unfortunately I was not suprised. Not only that family smuggling drugs across the border they threatened to shoot anyone who got in their way. The police have been at that house on numerous occasions & never charged anyone with domestic violence. One of my 70 year old neighbours called the police on them, then her house was threatened with arson. That neighbour told me, if they found out about my tip then the police here are crooked. That family also went for 3AM boatrides every night down the canal behind my house that leads into Lake Erie ( I suspect they would meet some American in the Middle of the Lake and trade Canadian Hydro for coke & illegal U.S. guns, that is considered common place there ). That family also had a huge
house, many cars, boats & lived like millionares but I heard that none of them ever held a real job. Are the cops there really that stupid. While I witnesses this for 4 years, neighbours told me this went on for years before I lived there. It took a homicide that caused international news ( one of the victoms was from Ohio ) for that families crime spree to end.
I'm really not suprised by what I heard on the news. THE CANADIAN JUSTICE SYSTEM NEEDS TO GET ITS ING ACT TOGETHER.
Also I support the death penalty. ing scum sucking pieces of like Carla Homolka ( I cant believe that serial killer got let out ), Paul Bernardo & Robert Armstrong are kept alive by wasting Canadian tax payer money. They will never be rehabilitated & they know what they did was wrong.
I think Canada needs the Capital Penalty ( and I think firing squads would be appropriate for serial killers ). Who else agrees?
One of the reasons I moved away from there, is the white trash & criminal element there. If theres going to be alot of crime, then I may as well live in a bigger city, and take advantage of jobs that pay far more for my profession & all the cultural attractions. |

Dont agree with the death penalty myself. It certainly doesnt work as a deteriant(sp).
Also, would the cost of a inmate of death row and to eventually kill them would probaly be similiar to someone serving life? |

Yes, I agree with the death penalty and I like the justice system here in Texas for the most part (it has flaws too, especially when it comes to alcohol laws).
Currently Texas is considering if two-time child molesters should be executed. Which I think is good too. |

An update today, all the victoms were members of the Bandito's biker gang. 5 other gang members ( affiliation not mentioned by the press ) have been arrested. Authorities are not offering any more details other than it was likely a battle over money & territory in Southern ontarios lucrative drug market. The only thing publically released , is that the RCMP are searching around a farm house owned by another biker gang member a few miles away. The victoms all knew each other and were from Toronto. 3 were reported missing on Friday, so it is possible they were killed before their bodies were brought to that farm on the north shore of Lake Erie.
The murders were definately to send a message. I think the police might have a hard time finding willing witnesses. |
