Eccentric Beats Celebrates Its 3 Year Anniversary @ The Dinkytowner With Klik Musik.

Headlining: Jonathan Lisle (London, UK)

"If Zabiela is Sasha's talent spot, Lisle is very much John Digweed's " (DJ Mag)

Voted Worlds Best Breaks DJ in the Breakspoll, #81 in the 2003 DJ Mag Top 100 poll. Playing for Bedrock, Jonathan has played with the worlds top DJs including Sasha and Digweed and has performed at festivals from Dance Valley, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System and Global Gathering.

Internationally Jonathan has been headlining across the world including Japan, China, Singapore, throughout the US, Argentina, Cyprus, Turkey, Poland, Canada, Moscow, India and Indonesia.

Thanks to Jonathan's rapidly rising reputation, built on the dual foundations of inspired live sets and highly innovative 3 and 4 deck mix CD's he has also had guest radio mixes on Annie Nightingale's Radio 1 show, on Phil K's award winning Kiss FM (Australia) radio show, John Digweed's Kiss 100 UK show and across the US (including a live radio mix in New York).

2005 saw more international gigs for Jonathan in over 15 countries as well as pushing the technical boundaries as the face of Denon mixing using 3 Denon DNS5000 CD decks [giving him 6 channels], efx and keyboards. He recently finished his first commercial mix CD for Bedrock's new Original Series, [O:S_2 Jonathan Lisle] which was voted by DJ Mag as one on the best CD's of 2005. He is currently finishing a new mix CD to be released via UK's Respected Critical Rhythm label Group in 2006.

I just listened to that CD, it's incredible. Done on 4 Denon DN-S5000s, Ableton, a JP8000 and some other analogue synth. This guy is way underrated.

From Resident Advisor:

As head honcho at promising breaks label M-Theory, Lisle is a classic example of the businessmans businessman, balancing his legal and musical careers with the sort of effortless control that comes across in his sets. As part-time A&R man for Bedrock, full-time lawyer, and all-times musical pioneer, a superhuman regime of sixteen hour working days keep him surprisingly fresh. Its the passion that keeps him going. Im very serious about my day job so I give everything Ive got to my music at night and at weekends and everything Ive got to my day job during the weekdays, he admitted in a recent interview. Its all about balance.

I have been in communications with Lisle today and he just wanted people to know "i cant wait for tmrw!"

I want to see people loosing it on the dancefloor for a guy flying directly from London to Minneapolis after what I'm sure was a long week at the office to destroy the Minneapolis dancefloors.

IT'S SO ON!
