My dad is an architect here in Chicago so we would get a deal on a new developement, move in, build the houses, move on. I think I've lived in around 8-9 houses.
I've had 5 apartments here in Chicago so far... moving into a condo in the next month or so. |

A question for those with a somewhat nomadic life: Don't you find it strange that you're not emotionally attached to a house/apartment?

I could relate to the first half (although I'm not in the countryside :D), but why do you prefer living where you are rather than where you used to live?

Moving is said to be one the most stressful things in a persons life. Try and stay relaxed and make sure you get all the little details ironed out!
Good luck.
Oh, and if you can, see if you can get into the new place beforehand so you can do the nitty gritty cleaning. You'll never be able to reach all the spots once everything is moved in! |

My mother and my sis already took care of the cleaning - they're a bit paranoid about dust and whatnot, and it's all shining (and slippery :p) now.
As for the stress, I'm good, it's just "new" to me :) |
