| ...for you/your friends to get ed up? as in like drinking, rolling, whatever...every weekend? once a month? couple times a year? less than that? what you do think the norm is for people of the college age? and if you choose to engage in such activities, do you think you do a good job in balancing sober activities with enhanced times? i'm just trying to get some perspective. |

Caela, I'm not in college but I get trashed very often. How I do it, is where the frequency varies.
Pills: at certain events/parties. Sometimes like every month or every 2 months.
powder: very often. every other day
vidodin: just about everyday.
alcohol: very very rarely. |

p.s. - I drink like once every three months now, it seems. When I was in college I drank like once a month; I wasn't a typical college kid though, I was all Mr. Bodybuilder-have-to-have-0-%-bodyfat and crap. There was a period when I was about 23 - 24 or so where I was partying really hard every week, Thurs, Fri, Sat. HARD. |

| let me clarify...a have a group of friends that are OBSESSED with rolling/tripping/basically doing ANY-THING to get them ed up. it's all they talk about, during the rare time they aren't on something. i'm all for having a good time...but it's to the point where you can't even hold a conversation with any of them/feel like an outsider because you're not rolling face on a sunday night.:( how normal is this? |

sorry but the one that made those appreciation sigs was jupiteranus and im not talking to that stupid motha!@#$%^ anymore because of what he did in a thread to me.......so if u want me to put a appreciation sig of yours then ull have to do it urself and send it to me |

I've got few of those friends as well.. its hard for me to make a conversation with them since i dont do the they do (or as much)...
no decent conversation can last for 5 minutes.. i try not to cut my relationship with them i see them from time to time.. but i guess thats what seperates us..i try to be my myself and not get into the they do bcz i (feel) i have more responsibilites and a uni to manage!

yeah for sure :) that's the same way i feel. it's sad that sometimes i feel like the minority for being sober cuz i have to do normal things (like work? go to class?) in the morning. there's a time and place for everything, and when it's right, it's a great time to party...but no one's life should revolve around drugs :) |
