Hi! Need some help and direction with Germany-Berlin

Hello all,
I will be visiting Amsterdam and Berlin (and maybe Ibiza) with a friend or two in either July or August (depending on events and so on). What I need help on is with some direction on what clubs/bars/pubs are good and any happening events. I am looking for:
1. Any good clubs that play electronic music (I like techno hard and minimal, trance of course, breaks and so on) whether it is a big and popular club or a small one.
2. Also of any big events (like I know Awakenings just took place).
3. Of any tourist attractions and so, anything interesting that you would recommend (like red light area and so on- I won’t partake but it sounds like fun to visit =)
4. Of any pubs/bars where university type crowd or older crowd hang out and it is known for picking up and what not.
If anyone could guide me with help in terms of names, locations and street info. that would be greatly appreciated…
p.s I don’t kill baby seals.
p.s.s A backpacker told me traveling within Europe from country to country is very easy either by plane or train…is this true? I mean commuting from Amsterdam to Berlin might be easy but the reason we are staying away from Ibiza is because it might be just a bit harder..

| dams..i forgot about LP...tx! We will be hitting that for sure...anyone have ticket info.? tx again...also any cool spots to hang around at night in Berlin (possibly with some cuties ;)) |

since TRESOR, and Ostgut have been closed, we only have some 'not legal' parties. But they are hard to find.
A good hint for allowed parties is:

switch the date in the right menue, and you will get a list of official parties for a special day (which you selected). |

Robert Johnson is in Frankfurt, not in Berlin. Overseas is the expert when it comes to Robert Johnson.
Regarding the Loveparade: Loveparade is for free, unless you want to get on a floats, but you won`t find any float tickets until mid - end of May. |

yes they do. Best club in Germany. Tiny though (which in fact makes it so good). Top line ups. Top music. TOP system. www.robert-johnson.de
Best Berlin club: Watergate
As for travelling within Europe: why would it [i]not[/] be easy?? This is not the third world you know. Difficult to get to Ibiza? Gimme a break. There are over a dozen flights a week there from Frankfurt alone.

Guys,
You have been more than helpful...thanks alot! So I think are agenda will be to hit Berlin for 4 days for the love parade. Maybe head to Franfurt for a night just for RJ.
Oh, by "not easy to get to Ibiza" I just meant in terms of length of travel, fitting the trains and flight schedule into a limited time schedule (about 1-1 and a half weeks). Thanks again guys. |
