Definately didn't play DFF, I was looking out for it, love that tune.
This Angels Revenge tune is seriously amazing tho, it needs to be had ASAP. I think they played Silverblue - Step Back (Blue sky mix) as well, but I'm not sure :p |

just a few tossers :rolleyes: , not an abundance of ok ppl, but it wasn't just the beerboys (Altho there was plenty of them), cos I only drink, nothing else, but there were far too many ppl there just to get off they're , not to see dumonde. It was quite an unfriendly atmosphere too, nothing like passion, and you could tell 3 quarters of the ppl in there didn't give a who was playing, just wanted to get off they're . The only time I'll be goin back is when theres a big name DJ on again, cos otherwise it ain't worth it, but for £4 I shouldn't really complain :p
One of the bouncers was being a complete dick, wasn't impressed with the way they were walking round intimidating ppl, it was like I was at Club XS in Kettering (hole) only with dumonde playing :(

Yeah 4 quid it costs to get into frisky usually 5 or 6 sometimes depends who's playing.
Well good to hear you had a top night Az_1. And I know exactly what you mean by people not being there for the music, a lot of them are like that its either to get pissed, get shagged, or get mashed I don't mind the latter of them three so long as their there to enjoy the music, but in Northampton unfortunatly they don't :( . That club really needs to have an atomsphere I'm suprised they attract good Djs like Dumonde (JamX and De Leon) and Scott Bond, the only tiem they'll cheer is if these Djs play there Anne Savage, Charlotte Birch, Lisa Lashes, Lisa Pin Up, Ingo, and all the hard house DJs not that I have a problem with people liking hard house its just their attitudes to Trance, theres Djs like John '00' Fleming, Guy Ornadel, and Scott Bond who play there around over 3 or 4 times a year in Flemings and Ornadels case around 6 to 8 but the crowd are wankers they never compliment them the only time they do get cheered and the atomspheres good is when they use one of bigger venues like The Guildhall or the Roadmender or in some cases as much as beerboys hang out Visage! the good thing about that place is its big apart from that its wank unless someone puts on a special event. And this might make you laugh if your a Passion or Sundisential Regualar they try to compare themselves to Passion and the bottom floor of my house is nearly as big is their club, plus the people their basicially hate trance, they pride themselves on playing good hard house but their records are ing old and they try and create this bull atmosphere it makes me laugh a lot because theres no atmosphere the club where they hold it is a dive too.
HAHA the bouncers this wasn't by any chance Welsh, bald, and built like a brick house?

Nah it was some big black bloke, being a complete , wasn't accepting my passport, twat, and some huge greek bloke told him to shut his mouth and let me in :D
I'm not gonna make goin there a regular thing tho, only when theres a big name DJ there, but on the whole not much could have ruined the night, cos Dumonde were absolutely top :D
on sadder note, my mates missus got smacked by some in Time down the road, which was nice :mad: |

Time? Bridge Street, or that bar at that Sol Central devlopments place? Yeah one major problem with Northampton people who can't handle their drinks and want to start rucks, theres one side on Bridge street the side with Bar Soviet where whenever we walk along there we always get into trouble of some kind weather its a doorman saying somthing cocky when we walk past and a mate of mine turning round and having a go back, or someone squaring up it never happens to me but it always seems to happen to my mates I don't know why, the other side where Tabasco Jaz used to be we never get hassle for some strange reason.
The Greek bloke I know who you mean he's an oldish geezer he's probably one of the only alright ones there, theres around 5 black doormen there and about 3 of them are 6'4 plus do I won't probably know which one. But one word of advice if you go down there to see a good dj, most of them are wankers on the doors there but they guy to try an avoid the most is Tall Bald Welsh guy, like he will start ongoing arguements and wars with groups of people that go on for around a year, and he always have his eye on certain people aswell like if he don't like you he'll find a way to chuck you out even if you haven't done anything, but saying that the last few times I was there I actually got on with him strangly oen night he kept everyone in the club one night because a fight broke out right outside and this about 4 in the morning its freezing, and me my mate and him and a few others of the doormen are just standing there taking the piss out of these people fighting. |
