I just saw him last friday. the show was mediocre, but the thing that really bothered me was that as soon as he finished his set he ran off stage and out the back door. i'm not expecting the the guy to hang out and get molested by drunk fanboys, but it just had a big 'holier than thou' vibe to it. |

Yeah, thats what I thought at first, but my friend Drew (the photographer) is one of the nicest guys ever, super humble, and was offering to take great photos of BT for free. He kicked him off stage and then when he tried to ask why, he said something like "get the out"... :/ |

i have moderate feelings about bt . a couple of years ago, new orleans had their annual "voodoo music festival" . scheduled were paul van dyk , ferry corsten, bt , digweed, and mauro piccoto . pvd cancelled weeks before, stating that there were scheduling conflicts and he couldn't make it . i am fine with that . however, bt doesn't say anything until the day of, and says he can't make it to the event , and he had no explanation to why . hmmmmm ...
i still like his music anyways, and ferry corsten rocked the stage that night . :o . and digweed was awesome as usual |

also about the leaving the gig right after his set, maybe he had a flight to catch? |

Yeah I mean, I'm not saying hes always a prick, but sometimes its just like, come on dude...what harm has been done?
I just can't see myself being a dick to people who've paid money and taken time to see ME. |

| I guess when you do 2-3 gigs a week, every week you can get a bit edgy but its still no excuse for treating someone like when theyre trying to be helpful. But who knows, maybe it was a security thing. or maybe he was having a bad day. still no excuse when youre supposed to act like a professional but hell he is human afterall |

Yeah, eceryone's allowed a ty day, but then on Monday he was being a dick to someone who asked for a pic with him @ a Lostep gig. |

Put yourself in his shoes, maybe he had a whole lot of going on in his head at that point, maybe he just wasn't in the mood. Ever snapped at a friend because you were a little cranky? I am by no means defending BT, I know too little about the subject, but you can never quite see the whole story- I however have heard BT is a nice dude... This information may not be entireley true though... |
