Simply, race is just a social construct: it doesn't exist biologically, and makes little sense socially, due to its subjectiveness.

"Latin" is not a race, but a family language with so much genetic variation among its speakers that it would be reckless to consider it as a "race" (you might as well consider the existence of a "Canadian" race then, for example). "White" doesn't make any sense either, given the fact that a black-haired brown-eyed "white person" would look more similar to a person of "asian descent" than another "white" person.

Well, their "purity" is sure artificial: most times, it was created thanks to selective breeding, which is artificial process.

Yeah you got me. But I am still with Moral Hazard in that there are actual races. I'm just not smart or educated enough to express these thoughts without the massive holes in my argument, pointed out by yourself.. :p |

You could always point out what your beliefs: holes aren't flaws, but pieces we might want to think about. It doesn't necessarily weaken your views, but they could strengthen them as soon as you see them :) |
