Name is Mike, its a pleasure. I never miss a PvD night here in NYC, i have been following this guy since the late 80s and early 90s..when he did some remixes of New Order hits back then, the guy just moves with the times and still doesnt falter. I even went to Ibiza to see this guy spin....Tiesto was a no show...geez....PvD never misses a show. You should come down to NYC when he has his 6 hour sets, its really a good night. His best nights are in NYC with those Made events. |

To me Pvd is a whiny punk.The last 3 shows i saw him in he looked like he was passed out and sucked.2 of them he didnt fulfill his set obligations.I saw him in January in Florida and he was playing the same boring .Gimme Sasha,Diggers,Preach,Liebing and I would strap PVD to a speaker stack and have them all play marathon 12 hour sets.Whatever was left i would let Ricardo Vallebos have his way with him.But hey thats only my opinion.
Montreal is a House,Electro,Techy city.Trance died when sven stopped here. |

The thing is this..if you follow PvD for a whole year..its very similar...since I don't do that, its new stuff everytime he comes to NYC...but with that programming hes got in that Mac...well you cant change your style that much, but it beats the trainwreck....
PvD is a skinny..guy though..im nearly 2x broader than this guy....hahaha, met him once, hey hes a creative..though and he doesnt throw records into people's faces like Sasha...and the no shows....
think about this, you pay good money...like 40 bucks a tick, then the bastard doesnt show to spin..cause hes cracked out..WTF is that?
House is good, hard house is good...like em all....I just have something for trance since it got me back into the scene in 94 from 89..fun stuff, Ill retire soon...:-( |
