Posting this for a friend:
"I’m selling an iBook G4 1.33GHz, 512MB, 40GB, ComboDrive, 32MB Video, AirPort, Bluetooth, 12". It comes with OSX Tiger 10.4.5 operating system and Microsoft Office latest edition (2004) which includes Word, Entourage, Excel, Power Point and MSN Messenger Corporate Edition, as well as a protective case. I bought the computer in late January and it is in pristine condition, the only reason I am selling is because the computer will not run an application that I will be using this summer. You will be purchasing the product as Apple sells it, I will not be keeping any cables or applications etc. The box is even in pristine condition! If you have any questions fell free to email me.
[email protected]. $ 1200.

So he's selling it for $50 less than he bought it for?
The resale price of Apple products is mindblowing. I've never seen things hold their value so well (other than of course jewellery and real estate). |

Well, the question here is whether or not he will get 1200$ for it. I think I would rather spend 200 more and get a brand new unit, complete with MY own warranty from Apple...and I am sure many other people would do the same. When it comes to expensive equipment, reassure me with warranties and guarantees. |

| The laptop's not even 3 mos old- I'm sure whatever warranty it came with will transfer over to you. |
