is there any specific meaning to the "versus" in tracks and sets
does it just mean they produced it together?
*shrug* |

| Well in tracks it usually means together, I guess its just a cool way of saying it. In sets, it will be a "battle" between two DJs. This means one DJ spins a track and the other DJ has to mix his track in and so on and so forth. There was another thread on this I believe, I dunno if you could find it if you searched for it. |

It also means that a track could be a Synergy.
A synergy is where 2 tracks have been mixed together in thier entirity, not just to make a transistion from one track to another.
EG: Darude Vs One Phat Diva - In and Out of the Sandstorm
Paul Van Dyk Vs Delerium - Angel of Silence
Some of these synergys are really good, others are a total waste of vinyl.

Yep, so it can either be 2 djs doing a spin off head to head, or 2 djs producing a song together, or a mix of 2 songs, normally bootlegs |

in that case the DJ's are stupid and dont know each other well enough... or the ppl who organised the b2b session havent a clue. for a b2b set to work they have to be similar styles... like u couldnt have nick riley vs scot proj coz nick riley is progressive as , and scot proj is hard as . |
