Self described as the "Artist of Sound", Traxx manipulates the musical compisitions(records)into his own distinct emotional interpretations.Because of this, one can count on sessions programmed by Traxx to be unpredictable,diverse, and always distinct. He displays variant musical genres,which eminate from his sonic experiences.He creates a signature blend of eclectic and avante garde combinations from a broad musical pallette. His archives include: Original House Music, Rhythmic Percussion,Rare Garage,Italo Disco,Filth Funk,Brazilian and New Age combined universally to infuse the True Sound Of House Music. Not only does Traxx rock the dancefloor,but he boldly ventures into uncharted mental dimensions of turntablism by combining rare elements of Electronic Technology from the past,present and future which include: Abstract Grunge, Retro Punk,Electropop, NuWave, Acid Tracks, Mono Minimalism and Techno Soul. Traxx's resume is equally as impressive as his musical pallette.
Aside from his accomplishments as a respected Turntablist, Traxx has also been expressing himself in the studio. He has already released 11 projects. The Dirty Criminals LP Organized Confusion is his debut on Gigolo Records featuring Traxx DeeCoy Hieroglyphic Being. The material presented relives the simple based synth and prototypical rhythm manifested from the early age of electronic dance. The members of this cult are expressing pre emerged experiences which have originated from many different genres that include: EBM (Electronic body music)

DJ Hyperactive hails from the south side of Chicago, where he honed
his djing and producing skills for the past 20 years. Hyperactive
started out as a DJ and 14 years ago, made the transition into writing
as well. To date, he has released over 50 projects and remixes for
labels such as Contact, Hybrid, Missile, Plus 8, Communique, Drop
Bass, Planet of Drums, Smile, Analog, Saboteur, High Octane, Uppercut
and his own label imprint, 4 Track Records.
As a DJ/Artist, Hyperactive's popularity took off rapidly due to his
DJ skills and frequent releases, and became a very sought after
DJ/Artist worldwide.He is renowned for playing at many of the top
clubs/events in the U.S. and overseas. The list includes some of the
top clubs and events such as, The Orbit in Leeds, The Liquid Room in
Tokyo, and Love Parade 1996 in Berlin.
In 1997, Hyperactive relocated to Southern California, where he
continues to produce under the name of DJ Hyperactive, but also has
produced under aliases Joe Manu, Samoan Acid Stomper and Drumaddik.

He has released, remixed, and coproduced for such diverse artists as My Life with The Thrill Kill Kult, Kill Memory Crash, Hyperactive, Adam X, Mount Sims, and the legendary DJ Traxx of Dirty Criminals. Always putting an edge on his music, Matt Nee continues to influence the future of minds and moves for the next generation of Chicago. This is the future of new city jack.

From the infamous street pounding electronic jack collective The Dirty Criminals, which he created with partner Traxx, DeeCoy has recorded and showcased his unique sound on such heavyweight labels as Intl Dj Gigolo Records, Zuvuya Recordings, Antennae Intl, and his new imprint Udek Music. As a product of 80s pop/new wave culture, the kid that once was banging on old metal gas tanks replicating motions made by Einsturzende Neubaten, destroying his guitar covering tunes by 7 Seconds and Minor Threat, and creating electronic pop with his classy Casio, is now spreading the Sound across the globe and producing serious tracks for those who know. The world's first taste of DeeCoy's production was a remarkable TDC remix for Dj Hell's 'Passion' on International Deejay Gigolo Records Compilation 4. However that was just the beginning. This was immediately followed by a string of tracks on various labels and an explosive Dirty Criminal full-length album (Organized Confuzion) that received rave reviews for staying true to the original acid sounds of the Windy City and marking the return of the gritty street house/techno revolution. |
