Any advice welcome, its for a remix competition but I've only used like 1 sample from the pack, I'm going for a deep yet banging vibe....
Any tips on mastering etc are especially appreciated...

very nice kick, its really deep and pounding.
abit hectic for my taste. that "reversed"(??) hi-hat got to me after a while, felt such a relief when you took it out in the break :)
maybe tone it down a few notch or have something before/after to make it feel less sharp?
otherwise pretty interesting, would probably work very well in a club. |

i can hear where u get ur inspiration, could use some modulation or something, its a bit dry.. some reverb or something..
a snare would do good.. the bass is good though.. really pounding.. maybe some more percs ? |

Thanx for the tips (both of you)!
I'm gonna have another play about with it, a few people have said there's a bit too much going on on the hi hats/trebles etc... I'll post a new sample here when I've done
And Yes I'm pretty pleased with the kick/bass, thanx :cool: |
