EDIT:

This thread is over nine months old now, but there very fascinating news.

My production partner and me got this track signed to
Maximal Recordings and we also got a Tillmann Uhrmacher Remix
of the track MINDSOUNDSCAPES - Evangelion.

see details on this website
http://www.sa-uk.com/

It will be published in February.

The links of the download have been removed but I hope to upload a sample of this track within in the next days with the permission of all the involved people.

writing as i speak.. the congo's go wel with the kick. 0:58 good introducing of bassline. good short break at 1:25. the break at 3:30 is really good, i love the emotion.. left to right synths are cool. really good layering of samples, the emotion in this track is very nice, i like this one. good job mate!

much better now!

nice percs in the beginning!
this clap is a bit out of mix, imo! doesnt sound too good! try to cut out some freqs....
bass is a bit too loud imo...eleminates the other elements a bit...
that belly sound is cool...
nice pads! they're great...
4.08 is awesome! :eyes:
ideas in the break are really good!
melody has a very lovely progression!
work also a bit on the eq'ing, imo some parts are clipping...try lower the volume of the track...
with some more work on the mixing this is a really good trancer!

keep up the good work!

you know, it's actually getting kinda boring. :D

allways great productions, so where's the fun in that? *g

i like the percussions in the beginning. the bassline goes well with the rest of the groove.
overall great energetic buildup and i looooooove the break.
the title serves the melody very well and i get this strange "i wanna die because i've been to paradise"-feeling ;)

mastering is (as always) perfect and well done.

the only thing i would critisize are your snare fills. they sound really standard. if you would do something a little more "you", they would uprade your track to 100%.

i really hope you'll send this to a few labels, cause this is an excelent piece of music!

ps: how about a john miller hardgroove remix? ;)

pps: i would be happy to make a few snarefills for you, if you like.

Good track.

Just something in the levels doesn't sit right with me.
Bass might just be a touch too much in the front of the mix, but it might just be me. Works better into the track.

The width of the track leaves something to be desired as it sounds very crammed into the middle, so perhaps think about some hard panning or stereo widening on some elements in the mix.

The percussion is it's biggest weakness as you have a sound that has some real driving potential but is totally wasted due to the very standard percs, so nothing really drives it along. It makes it a very static piece of music with no funk or life.
EDIT- Just gave it a second listen and deffinately the percs and levels, it just gets lost in this wall of sound.

I think with a bit of work though this could become an awsome piece of music, and would definately get my thumbs up.

You have some really awesome ideas, I just feel that it's let down a little by some of the elements I mentioned.

I hope I haven't made myself a retard now. Just calling it how I see it.

Keep it going.

Cheers

thank you very much for the feedback.

I guess I'll have to work on the bassline and the overall mixdwon.

Nice track, kinda reminded me a bit of Crystal Invitation ;)

I think the limiter is a bit too hard, you can hear that after the first snareroll at about 1 min. Personally i don't like the bassdrum too much, it's too weak for my taste and it seems to go under with all the synthesizers playing - maybe you should try to EQ and turn it up a bit or take a more powerful BD

Alltogether the sound is very "high", meaning you have very little sounds in the low frequency area... this takes the drive a bit. Maybe you should try to put the bassline one octave down.

I hope the fadeout at the end is just in this version as it doesn't make the track quite mixable ;)

thank you very much for all the feedback.
I really appreciate that.

There are several things which need to be improved.
