Things that annoy you about the internet culture

I get more annoyed with the internet culture each passing day. The most annoying thing to me at the moment is people that make points in serious discussions(like in the PDD) by copy and pasting random internet articles. Then these same people read some random conspiracy theory of some 38 year old virgin from Indiana that wears an ac/dc(thunderstruck owns btw) shirt every day and believe it is fact. What happened when people actually read books to become intelligent instead of randomness on the net?
Another thing that annoys the crap out of me is girls and pictures. A girl posts or talks = omg show us a pic!! Either that or a girl just posts her pic right up front just to get attention. I could care less what girls look like on the net, just make quality posts or conversations.
One more thing that annoys me is that people that tell you they are going out or leave stupid away messages letting others know they are out. It is not a game where you have to prove to a bunch of net people that you have a life! No one really cares you are out with "the hottest chick ever." These same people are usually really annoying to talk to because they only talk about themselves.
ok im done...Anyone else want to rant about internet culture or pet peeves with net people? |

i don't like how every time someone is corrected or steered in the right direction, it's labelled as a PWNED OMG OWNED ZORED ZERG RUSHED. Every single ing god damn time.
and people who use tweaks or exploits or know what spyware is, calling themselves hackers. |

| i'd say ur spot on. the behavior on these boards and on the internet is annoying, dumb and repeatitive. but all this probably stems from the fact that most ppl are unoriginal and annoying. depressing isn't? not much hope for mankind |

i agree with what you said except for the fact the you can find good articles on the net, with insightful information. the same randomness you find on the web you can find in books, so basically you needn't necessarily read books. I in particular am a fan of books, but i have found that the internet is a good source for when a book is lacking on a specific subject or when i just dont have the time or money to buy a book. |
