A friend of mine is featured in today's Sunday New York Times: check it out. A really interesting story, and very cool to have it told in print.
He periodically runs a downtempo radio show called beat.net, broadcast from KZSU in a Stanford University basement. Real irony for a guy who dropped out of high school. (He was kind enough to let me guest mix when I was in the area last summer, although quite different in style from his usual playlist.) |
