| horrible payperview...only exciting match was the tito match...damn tito is out of shape tho he was huffing and puffing by the 2nd round. But i gained alot of respet for foreest griffin |

griffin is in crazy thats all i can say. he doesnt start fighting till his head is busted in and then he starts going at it like a champ...
however i have to say tito was injured...torn ACL and slipped disk in his back he was hurt |

Sweet! I almost hate Tito now after watching Ultimate Fighter. He's such an arrogant prick who is just awesome at what he does. Griffin seems like a guy that actually has heart, and yes, you're right. He doens't fight until hes almost dead, then he pwns massively. :D
Wish Griffin woulda' won :( |

I found out on friday that a coworker has the same jujitsu coach as tito and has been training with him for years...They are good friends.
We were talking about MMA and he takes me over to his computer and shows me pics of himself training with Vitor Belfort and such. I was shocked
He wants me to start training with him..
Im not sure how I feel about that. Ive wanted to get into that but its another bill Id have to pay....as well as getting my ass beat every tues/thurs/sat....:whip: :whip: :whip: |

| Griffin. should have won the fight and the Arlowski match shouldnt of been stopped so quickly.Tito won the fight because of his name alone. |

yeah i saw it, the tito/griffin fight was the fight of the night. i love how griffin won over the pro ortiz home crowd by the end.
still in shock about the arlovski match, and i agree with the above post that i dont think it should have been stopped so quickly. they will fight again sylvia < arlovski.
the heat owning the out of the goat was a good fight tho. |

people don't generally come in with one fighting style anymore. everyone cross-trains to become a well rounded fighter.
In the early UFCs, there was more of this. Karate v Tae Kwon Do v BJJ v Boxing V Judo etc. By example, BJJ was far superior and put the Gracies on the map as the premier fighting family. It was funny, this skinny small Royce Gracie winning NHB fights against these huge buff guys with punches and kicks like a mule.
But i think the main points are BJJ, boxing and wrestling. |

Didn't you hear about tito's injuries. Tore acl and some back problems. His docs wanted him to pull out of the fight but he didn't want to. Thats why he wasn't doing for the whoel match. which made it kinda boring. The only reason he won was cause he finally took forrest down in the 3rd. Thats what the judges look for.
the arlovski fight stunned me, that dude is insane but just got rocked by one punch. It was a good stoppage cause he did nothing for the 3 shots slyvia threw while on top of him. If he would have rolled or moved into any position beside flat on his stomach with his legs straight out it would have continued.
The Nick Diaz fight was a bore too. And so was teh first heavy weight fight. UFC has to do something about the quality of fighters they get, cause it seems like it has gone downhill. |

| I loves me UFC and Boxing. Can't get enough of either. Don't follow them religiously to know who the actual big names are, however. |

yeah i think tito's problem more then the injuries was the fact he didnt train because of the injuries.I mean he looked tired by the 2nd round. i think he figured he would go out and try to knock this kid out first round. give it his alkl first round and knock the kid out and if it goes for 3 rounds just hold out, which is what he did. cocky ass bastard tho and i love it
as for nick diaz. this fight surprised me usually diaz is a wicked fighter and has really exciting matchges. this match SUCKED. and this is his 3rd straight loss. i dunno whats wrong with the kid, time to look for a new career. but yeh i dont know how he figured he won that fight. u cant score points if u do nothing |
