Mark Otten - So Serene (Hawk Remix)

Hey all!
Some time ago I made a remix of Mark Otten - So Serene. I mainly did it for fun, so I could have a nice intro track for my sets.
However, both Mark Otten and the Armind/Armada guys liked it so much that they wanted to do a digital release with this remix, and guess what: Itīs now released!

still remember the clip you sent a while ago, it's much better clip than the one armada decided to put up :( ... either way, many props to on your remix :)
i actually haven't heard the original, but the harmony added by the vocal cuts on this song really make it stand out, love it.

I have only heard the released one on Audiojelly. Out from what I heard it sounded really nice.. And you really should here the Original Mix, and the Menno De Jong's Heading South Dub Mix ;) Highly recommended, trust me :)

Itīs the same remix that you probably heard a clip from. But the sample up on Audiojelly/Armada stops right before the break. And that means right before the intresting stuff comes in ;) hehe.. So check out my www.myspace.com/hakonlofthus or www.hawkmusic.nu if you wanna hear a sample from the the break (or just buy the damn track) :P |

hakon, i noticed it was the same version of the track, just saying i was disappointed in the cut that was made for the purpose of the sample...

First of all, congrats on the release!
Based on the samples, I really liked your remix and I found it as good as the original which I really like. Cool baseline and you kept some of the elements from the original which is also good in my opinion.
All in all, good remix, keep it up! :D
