not a fan of the loop that comes in on ~1:54... well, it sounds ok after that point but just comes in a bit abruptly

i think the break drags on a lil bit too long also

but this is still quality nonetheless, great use of the sample, lovely mood as a whole. reminds me of james holden - soltice.. a little. superb production too :)

Thanks for the replys!

isoterra: Good that you pointing that out, but imo it would not sound any good if I was filtering or fading that synth in. :)

hi speactra,

dunno the original but this sounds pretty good.

track starts of nice, good bd, pretty thick and solid.

nice groove on the percussions at 1.00. i like the little housy touch. nice bongos in the back.

the strings you introduce at 2.00 are very cool. howewer the last note on the strings melody should be different to my taste. i expected something more friendly and summer'ish sounding instead of the dark appeal.

the flangered sound that comes in first at 1.54 (i pretty much guess its flangered) gets abit annoying after a while.

very good work on the break. good atmosphere. melody is still not my taste on the last note. somehow remembers me of some james holden tunes but without the techy'sch make-up.

break is a bit to long imo, in balance to the whole track length its ok.

soundwise this is pretty good. solid track without any big weaknesses.

gooood work :)

awesome track! I love the dark melody in it, very nice synths. The break down is sweet. Overall it has a very deep, spacey sound, very reminiscent of some good old sasha productions from 2000 or so. Very nice track...
the only thing I think it needs is a little more complexity in the buliding up of the track. but overall its sounding very good so far.

Thanks for the opinions soundrush and justin!
Glad you like it :D

I havent heard James Holden - Soltice before, so as some of you said it reminds of his tracks i listened to it and i have to say that it reminds a little, both the style, and the lfo'ed synth. Thanks for telling me, it's a great track!

hey dude i really like this. As some other people have mentioned though it needs to be a bit more complex. Othere than that this is a rocking tune...very holdenesque like others have said, it reminds me of the balance compilation he put out a few years back. Keep it up.

I think this is the final version, working on other projects now, so the bad mastering stays for a while.. I maybe do a remaster some day :)

Thanks!

Hi Speactra.

This track develops my imagination. Really good dark climate. Perucssion is great, rythmically and mix is balanced :D
nice dark pads, and synths - just wild dark forest!
I'm feeling strange...I see fog and black birds flying above me...and hear mermaid's voice...

very good track :)

Greetings :)
