i just came back from varadero a few weeks ago.
don't know about your resort but bring toothpaste and shampoo and soap.
money to buy liquor, cigars, get into clubs and buy drinks or food outside the hotel, and you must rent the scooters!!! 24 pesos for 24 hours. can't go wrong.
bring a camera, some sort of music and stuff me in your suit case...i miss cuba :(
if you go to havana club (which you must go to cause its probably the best club there) and run into a guy named bartone or miguel, tell them Luis said hi :) |

oh ya....food isn't that great but if your not a wimp you'll live through it. some of my friends that i went with complained about it all the time.

i brought $300cdn and got it changed at the hotel.
my hotel wanted deposits for the the safe in the room and beach towels.
next time i'm going to bring more cause there was more stuff i wanted to do. even though its all inclusive you will spend lots of money.
oh...best thing about the clubs.. 10 pesos = all you can drink until 4am (i think they finished at 4 or was it 2:conf: ) |

someone took a in the pool ... floater ... it was in the pool for so long that it turned light brown/whitish ... yeh not fun |

thats nasty. i stayed mostly in the ocean...btw, for the record: 3 on 3 pool volley ball. canadians played the english upto 21 (win by 2) and won 23-21. hahahaha...take that you english...they also lost to the spanish. we didn't play them cause it was our last day there.
but we beat the brits. :D
damn i want to go back. racing and going offroading with the scooters is fun too. |

ok i didn't have to know that!!
omg i'm soooooooooo renting a scooter:D rofl! even though i don't have any kind of driving license:D i rented a scooter at home when I went to our own lil Ibiza (Ayia Napa, Cyprus), managed to crash on it the day I was returning it, oooooops:D |
