BINARY FINARY
RELEASED: 1ST MAY
FORMAT: DOWNLOAD ONLY
With dance music currently overwhelmed by house music, there is extremely good news for the trance scene. Binary Finary return with their long awaited artist album ‘The Lost Tracks’.
It has been eight years since the masterminds behind the seminal trance epic ‘1998’ mysteriously disappeared. The Binary Finary duo, aka Matt Laws and Stuart Matheson, were caught up in internal power struggles with other members of the Binary Finary group, over the all too common music business problems that surround huge hits, such as ‘1998’.
Now out of the dark comes ‘The Lost Tracks’ - a selection of 16 tracks created by Matt and Stuart during this 8 year sabbatical. Binary Finary’s passion and ear for great music is reflected in this album. Known of course, for their classic trance sound, this album shows a maturity and range of styles which will surprise many. Two years alone were spent just on sampling and creating original sounds for this album, as well as on material for forthcoming DJ sets and Live PA’s. The end result has made this well worth the wait!
‘The Lost Tracks’ is an album that takes a journey through trance, electronica and progressive sounds. These tracks have never been heard before and some are still in the old skool state in which they were first created. The album marks Binary Finary’s historical and emotional journey, from their time in hiding, to their re-emergence as producers to be reckoned with.
This album is upfront and available as download only. It comes in both mixed and unmixed formats for the die-hard clubber and digital DJ alike. There is also the choice to download selected tracks from the album - something no other artist is doing. One of the most exciting tracks on the album has to be the Binary Finality Mix of the seminal classic ‘1998’ - never heard before and a fitting update of this amazing track!

| I will check the lost tracks. I have physical copies of the more or less famous binary finary annual remixes (CDs) but otherwise there isn't that much up to now. |

I'm excited. Can't wait. It's been too long since we've heard quality trance.
Two years alone were spent just on sampling and creating original sounds for this album, as well as on material for forthcoming DJ sets and Live PA’s.
Holy ! That's a lot of work!

Not on any label i think because it says "self released" unless that's a new label. |

| Hmm. I'll reserve some skepticism, but I am indeed interested. |

I am definitely looking forward to this one. Binary Finary never fails to impress. If people have heard one of their livesets from a few years back - Binary Finary Live @ MAD 2004 then they know what I mean.
I think their sounds is more towards the full on energetic sound rather than melodic. |
