wow, I just got a cd from this vintage store by Tangerine Dream called Ricochet it consist of two parts, its like a mix. I swear it sounds like modern trance, seriosuly guys check them out its sounds very good.

Of course. Trance picked up influence from ambient artists just as much as it gave a nod to techno, house and EBM. Not all trance picked stuff up from the ambient scene, but the whole notion of pads comes from ambient in the first place.
Also, Tangerine Dream is an excellent band with a legacy of beautiful music. I own Phaedra and Rubycon and I love them. |
