Summer pool parties are not odd in the least bit. What I do find odd is that people post requests thru the net for a pool party w/ a bunch of strangers w/ a common interest (TA). And if not a stranger, just a bunch of people who meet up once a week at a club, jacked up on alcohol, drugs, etc (which is cool in itself).
Oh yeah, I really see people opening up their houses for that. |

i can see your point but most of the people that i knew would respond to this would be the people that have cultivated friendships out of the common denominator which is the TA boards. i see quite a few of these people outside the clubs and do other things than "party" with them. and i thought it would give others a chance to come and do something other than be in a club setting. you know,like swim and have a bbq and talk and hang out and enjoy each others company. and of course listen to good music from TA djs. i have attend many pool parties from other groups of people such as high school friends, college friends, co-workers, church groups etc. this was intended to be just that, a chance to get to hang out with friends and possibly meet new ones. not to get cracked out on drugs and treat this like a clubbing experience. hope that clarifies mine and the others intentions of this pool party:D

We can definately talk. I am looking at more of a production that will span over 2 days, Friday night thru Sunday Morn. This would be at a beach house, or soemthing very similar. Small entrance fee to cover costs. So, I think I am going a different direction with my idea.
Got to work out a lot of kinks before I can seriously get this going.. Probably late august or something. |

yeah, sounds like a different direction, mine is just a low key friendly get together with no money involved, just friends hanging out. we'll talk later about yours though, i would like to help. |
