Lets start with the fact that Im dedicated to the EDM scene and have been for the last couple of years. And YES, I agree rap blows big donkey kawk. But who knows some hip hop tracks in EDM form?

The only half decent one I could think of was.
Fast Crew - I Got (electrofunk Lovers Club Remix) from Ministry of Sound Kid Kenobi Sessions
Doza
Well, i think that hip-hop IS EDM. What i mean is that the beats are made ELECTRONICALLY, the music is played in clubs for DANCING, and yeah...but i still don't like it all all :D

A bit of a different beat :)

Ive been listening to some stuff by the Scratch Perverts and really liking all the remixes. But Im not sure I would consider them EDM.

So what Im looking for is more house, breaks, trance, remixes of rap songs. I know for a fact theres tons out there, but thought maybe theres some I havent heard yet.

Missy Eliot - Teary Eyed (Tiefschwars club mix)
Mag1k
Chemical Brothers-Bring the Pain
Doza
Hmm i see what ya mean. Sad to say i can't think of much really.

Chemical Bros. - Galvanize has mc'ing in it
Oakenfold - Starry eyed surprise (lol hey it's still hip-hoppy)

Other then that i'm hip hop illiterate.:p

UMMMM......... Have you listened to some of the stuff out there.
I flip by BET once in a while and laugh...

I can appreciate Grandmaster Flash, Ease E and NWA, some 2pac, some Biggie, hell even some DMX... But thats before all everyone started to sing how rough and tough they are and how much ice they have around their necks.

:wtf:
But thats before all everyone started to sing how rough and tough they are and how much ice they have around their necks = DMX (Partly Eazy E and Tupac too, but definitely nt as much). I don't get it, you listen to DMX and you say the stuff that doesn't come from him and the other dudes you mentioned is crap? Get a grip man, DMX is the one who's bad.
You should dig deeper, mate.

haha dude I listed you some people who without a doubt did talk about how rough and tough they are and their ice... But nothing in comparisson to todays garbage. What do you want me to do, mention Big L, Tribe Called Quest, Blackalicious, Gravediggaz. Trust me I do know a little bit about rap, went through a stage same as everyone.

The people I listed were the people I can pretty much still put a CD everyonce in a while as long as i dont listen to half the lyrics and dont pay attention to half of the commercial . As for DMX, you should dig deeper on that one :).

Kanye West produces in this form sometimes, not to mention Run DMC :D
