Why do Dj's make tracks under different aliases?. I can understand if 2 or more DJs collaborate together but for example why would tiesto make a track under the name Allure and not Tiesto????

Often times it's just an artist forging a new sound or trying something out of the ordinary..

ie Aspekt = Smith & Pledger
But they sound ENTIRELY different.

In some cases it can be for legal reasons as well, as some labels will actually buy rights to the names of specific artists. Rare, but it does occur.

because it was produced well and he didn't want to ruin his image with the ginos. :p

All the other guys do it so they can post on message boards with different names and say anything they want and it won't affect their carrers. ;) :D

Me= Dirk Jonson (for porno), nusty (for message boards), Upgrade (for Live PA), Dave Bryant (for schooling and friends), Enrique Demorels (for tax purposes) ;)
