Beach Volleyball?

Anyone know where there are good recreational beach volleyball leagues in Toronto?
In Windsor, the health clubs have rec leagues where everyone goes, has a few beers and plays volleyball and has a great time...
...anything like that here? |

www.tessc.com - they run the league down at Asbridges Bay Monday to Thursaday evening and the Not So Pro tour. They also have one out in Mississauga if you are closer there. They have Mens/Womens/Mixed 2's, and 4's and 6's at different levels. Depending on what your level is the recreational and intermediate can leave a lot to be desired. The league usually starts the first week in May, so if you're interested you should act pretty fast.
If you don't want an organized league, just go down to Ashbridges any evening or weekend and there will be a lot of people playing...it can be very hard to get into a game with the better players, they are very cliquey. Depending on work and my knee I am usually down there a few evenings a week playing.

| for volleyball. If yout good therers people that get together everyday during the summer over by Sunnyside Cafe, its right on the beach and in sand and stuff :)... Some very nice looking girls play there too, so Ive heard. |

| yay beach volleyball is amazing!!! sooo much fun. people come down to the beaches, always tons of tournements going on and just people casually playing. I have a friend who plays in tournys so ill ask her and let ya know what the deal is for signing up |
