Baudelaire?

The person below the TB-303? No, that's Kierkegaard :D

Unfortunately, except for "Les Misérables" and Albert Camus (my avatar), I don't know much about French Literature :(

edit: If you meant the books, those are just my nerdiness.

Baudelaire is the best French poet imo. Kierkegaard looks a bit like him btw when he was young (they are from the same time). I can see you're in a existentialism period, between Camus (my fav book is The Rebel) and Kierkegaard. I'd highly recommend No Exit . It's funny my next EP is called Existentialism.

The "next EP" you're saying is the one with Snorsomy!? Where can I buy that? :D

As for me being in an existentialist period, that's quite true: I did have some interest on Camus since a few years ago, for example, but I was having problems at school because that wasn't what I was supposed to study :p Since I started dating my girlfriend though (we've been together for 2 years and a half), I've been able to read more and more about Philosophy as a whole, and Existentialism is one of the schools I'm interested the most.

You like existentialism too? Does a "existentialist culture" still lives in France, by the way? I was told it was popular in post-war France...

edit: I'm reading "No Exit" tonight, thanks for the link :)

Existentialism is my favorite philosophical movement, on the one hand because it gives to humanity the best place, and on the other hand because it had concrete applications, in particular thanks to the book of Simone de Beauvoir "the second sex", which really helped to lead the way to the feminism in France (women can vote since 1946... ).
My philosophy teacher is an existentialist and knew Sartre, but now there is generally speaking no more philosopher.

Edit: this is not the EP with Snorsomy! It's for another label, but nothing is signed yet, so wait & see!

Heh, thank God, my philosophy teacher is also interested on Existentialism (although he's more of a "Jaspers" fan): it took me some time to find a teacher with whom I "clicked" - there was some other teacher, for example, who was a radical Marxist, and would've been a total turn off.
