Was at the Arches Glasgow on Saturday night, for Death Disco vs Saltlick (basically Mylo vs Erol Alkan)
What a night. Basically started off listening to Mylo, the main arch was packed,he was ok, but his mixing was a bit suspect.
Then moved to the small arch which was packed to the rafters. Erol Alkan was sh*t hot. His mixing was very dodgy but his track selection was devistating !! He was actually loosing the plot, shouting and screaming, standing up on the decks and playing ridiculous tunes.
He managed to create a total party atmosphere.
When it looked asthough the night was over, everyone started the 'one more tune' chant, and subsequently he whacked on Buy Now - For Sale, and Want 2 Need 2 ( goes like let me just blow your mind, blow your mind) amongst others !!
The night was ment to finish at 4:00 but Erol played on until 4:40 !! haha
The police were trying to get in and stop him, but he just wouldnt stop !!
Erol Alkan deffo one the battle !!
