Hercules DJ Console MK2

Hi there, I have been a trance fan for a long time but have never been able to afford a proper set-up to start spinning music for myself, however when I came accross this piece of hardware which allows me to mix and record my own mixes for a one-off cost of £150 I was very tempted to purchase it and start learning to mix!

Has anyone used this before? What are people's opinions?

Cheers in advance

I believe Orbital32 has one.

I have it, since last Christmas.

Overall I'm happy, but I'm going towards PCDJ DAC-3 - it's much nicer quality.
Good things about MK2 is that it has sound card built-in, mixer built-in, but you can also use it with external mixer.

Problems are cheap plasticky feel, everything's a bit crowded.

Works with Virtual DJ (native support, it comes with special edition software) or with Tractor (there's custom mapping and instructions on Hercules' website).

Make sure you use new drivers from Hercules website, not the ones on CD.

Thanks, will do :)

What would be the point of using an external mixer as well?
