Can't believe I haven't heard this untill now, listened to it on House MD.
It's gorgeous! The beginning, and when the piano starts! Oh my god! |

It is normally called "Teenage wasteland" which is a common misconception, its acutally called Baba O'Riley, the reason in that is becasue the song mentions teenage wasteland a number of times and Baba O'Riley is never said. The reason for the name Baba O'Riley is due to one of the bands members (cant remeber who) was seeing a monk named baba at the time of writing the song, and o'riley is the name of jig played in the song.
Wicked song anyways.
Check out this one bud.

this song is an absolute classic.
from the Whos brilliant album 'whos next'
The openening just grabs you instantly and stays throughout the whole track and takes you on a magical journey, the vocals and lyrics are perfect, i especially love the violin solo as well. |
