It’s back by popular demand! Get ready Toronto. It’s time to commit your participation in the City’s 3rd annual 20-Minute Toronto Makeover. Just like last year, Mayor David Miller is asking all Torontonians at work, school or at home to stop what you’re doing on Friday, April 21, come outside at 2:00 p.m. and do a 20-minute clean-up blitz around your office, school or neighbourhood. Think how quickly we could clean and beautify the City with just a small amount of time and individual effort!
Please work with your supervisor, colleagues, teacher or fellow students to plan your participation. The 20-Minute Toronto Makeover is a complimentary event to the regular established Mayor David Miller’s Community Clean-up Day, scheduled for the following day, Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day).
What the City provides
The City makes special lime-green plastic bags and a single glove available to participants (while supplies last). Bags and gloves will be distributed at Pizza Pizza and Tim Hortons locations in Toronto and at participating locations in the GTA.

My room mate does this same thing regularly.
He just gets so sick of seeing garbage everywhere. I am not as passionate about it as he is, but at least I do not litter. |

hah you adore miller, never heard that one before
if you ask me we need more then a 20 minute clean up.....the don valley is ing disgusting i cant believe people just throw garbage of there balcony, pigs. |

My company's gonna do this cleanup all together at noon today. I got all the biodegradable bags from Pizza Pizza.
Litterers SUCK!
If anyone throws litter out of my car, I make them get out and pick it up. Ask Fran & Dallas. ;) < Guilty!!! |
