Charley, omg this track is insane! i'm no pro so i can't really critique it in detail, but i really love the way it sounds!! i would definitely get down to this on a dance floor... or maybe just bob my head while i sit in the corner in a dirty filthy cuddle puddle.

this is good, i like it. fresh and unique. i like the old school breakdown. its got a good dark, seething vibe and its very danceable.

| Nice work Charlie. I love the percussion, including the "mardi gras breakbeats" combined with the vocals have a John Graham-like feel to them. The bassline is simply wonderful. With the main hook that first comes in around 1:20 I'd kinda like to hear another part that compliments it after like 8 times or so, maybe if you make an alternate version. There's an idea in my head but it cannot be typed out here, so perhaps you will get a call from the pub later which will feature a hummed version of said idea. I like the part around 2 minutes in a lot as well as the percussion part that ensues. A minor thing I'm not big on is the effect used at 1:11, but it serves its purpose. i'm in no shape to address each of your comments as i just got my face rocked off by lostep and i have class in 4 hours, but i'll get back to everyone tomorrow.
but quickly, blake - i haven't used any sidechaining in this track. lots of slow filter envelopes and slides. actually most of these synths are done with the 3xosc in fruity. i dunno why i dig that synth so much.
