Which was better, BeB or Decadence? (pg. 2)

| BeB was good and all but it wasn't that much better then Decadence. The people made Decadence what it was. |

Had a blast at both. Beb>Decadence, although Decadence was good, BeB was great. The people that were at both made the parties what they were.

I agree that the people made both parties and the vibe from the crowd at BeB was great but partying with over 100 TOTAs is just awesome.
Musically - BeB was marginally better (at least with the DJs I heard)
Vibe - both were good and I couldn't really say one was better then the other.
Decor - Decadence
BeB did nothing to impress me enough to spend another $130.00 plus hotel, plus food, plus gas to run back again next year. Considering I paid $40 for Decadence I think for value for my money Decadence would be the better party. |

| Didn't go to Decadence this year, but if it was even close to last year's, it must have been a good party. Having said that, BeB was fcuking amazing. Music was insane (although I'd think that the music at the Guv this year was intense), but the vibe and the people were far better. |

Magikb, really wish I'd listened to rest of Preach's set, only heard first few tracks and you can only judge a dj by listening to most if not all of his/her set. Would have been off the hook to hear when he really started going hard..and sorry I missed you at BeB.. I think all the TAs would have been concentrated there (during Preach). |

Definately hands down... BEB was the better of the two
GUV cannot even compare for the venues...
GUV OVERSELLS THEIR EVENTS!!!! FACKIN SUCKS...

I can't say that I have been to Decadence, but BEB has been the best (two) parties I have ever been to...
To do a comparison to Toronto, I would compare it to Labour of Love and BEB, especially this year beats it :) FABULOUS party this weekend, and the vibe and people are what did it for me....:eyes: :D :D :D :D I will be back!
(I still like the city of toronto better tho....montreal as city during the day is pretty damn boring after you have been up a few times!!) :whip: |

Decadence had a better dj lineup and was MUCH cheaper but thats about it. You cant kid yourselves, the crowd and vibe in Montreal especially at an event like the WHITE party is 999999x better than torontos.
And ya Montreal forum people are mainly immature looosers |

I agree that the crowd in Montreal is not a push type crowd like most of Guv big parties but I've learned to deal with that and it doesn't bother me.
The Tech Room Crowd was awesome and I have no complaints there. However...the House Room crowd was a little over the top for me. Expressions of Love I have no problem with on a Dance Floor (i.e. holding each other and kissing) however.....a lot more then that was going on and know I will never listen to Deep Dish again or almost any house music....the images are just too much to handle. |

This was my first BeB, 2nd party in Montreal, with Swirl last year being the first. I enjoyed the trip, but it's not something I see myself doing often, as the costs (for me) don't justify the party.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably pick Decadence (or any other all access event). |
