I'm such a good friend damn it! WHY ME?!
I was just sayin that I wish my friends understood why I love EDM so much. They just think I'm crazy. They won't even come out to see what it's all about. Even once! *sigh*
I need new friends..lol |

If it's one thing I've learned in my 4 years of clubbing/partying, it's NEVER go to EDM events with friends who aren't really into it...and don't try convincing them. You'll find yourself leaving it early if you DO manage to convince them and be mad as hell at them.
For clubbing,
TAs > Friends.
That's why I have quite the few FLTAs as real good friends, inside the club and out.
I say, go alone and meet up with everyone. They're all you'll need for the party. ;) |

I totally agree...
For one thing, they'll do ALL nite ...is keep convincing you to leave cuz they are 'tired', or 'sleepy' or they jus can't take those non-stop blasting beats... |

lol, fak... tell me about it!! back in the days when Dan (playa24_7) wasn't really into the clubscene yet (or the trance-scene in general), i brought him along to the Guv when AVB was spinning in the main room (this was on the thanksgiving weekend in 2003; followed by PVD in the Koolhouse the night after). So it's about 1am, me and Dan chillin in the club, all of a sudden he's like: "i'm tired, gimme your car keys"(he knew i wasn't gonna leave until AVB's set was over). so i'm like: "WTF??????!!!! we just got here an hour ago and this guy is ditching me already?????". So he sleeps in my car while i enjoy one of the best sets i've heard in a club, dancing all by myself (well, i didn't know any TAs back then). But eventually Dan was converted 100% and now he's one of the key and most recognizable TAs. :toothless |

i actually convinced my best friend NOT to come to Decadance with me cos she doesn't last past 3-4am, whereas I was going there knowing I'm not leaving till 8am'ish:D I could just imagine her moaning about how tired and hot and blah blah she is:D |
