I've been cursing like a drunken sailor the past few games.
Murray's comments about Hashek raised some eyebrows but I doubt we will see him tonight. Though it might be the shake up they need mentally to get back in this series. I don't think Emery is to blame for going down 3-0 in the series, there were too many cough-ups by more than a few Sens that proved to be very costly.
That being said though, to go far in the playoffs you tend to need to be riding a goalie that is pulling out amazing saves... and while I think Emery has been solid enough to keep them in the games, he hasn't been outstanding.
Gawd I hope they win tonight :(
Our expansion cousins won the cup last time and I have been so patient with this team over the years... I'd hate to see them go down this way.. especially given the fact that they are the better team in the series, IMO.
At least Edmonton won last night. |
