Hey all, I need some advice on what cd's and such I should pick up. I dont have much history with trance or any types of electronica even though I listen to it at least once a day.. ((I just dont know names or anything)) I like all the music hosted here on TA, but im kinda OCD with my music where I dont really wanna put it on my ipod unless I have the full CD by the artist ((Unless its a live set, which I happen to have all of hehe)) So here is my question for you.. What cd's and artists should I start buying into?I know the populars are Armin, Tiesto, and PVD.. but I dunno.. I think there could be alot more than just those three..
Peace

| Global Underground CDs are usually a safe way to check out new DJs without wasting your money. I'd stay away from the most recent ones though. I prefer 4, 7, (Oakenfold) 13 (Sasha), there are many more but I forget the #'s right now of the artists I like. |

The first summer, mixed by DJ Lars Holthe. A great album.
And of course, the one and only..
Boundaries of imagination by Armin Van Buuren. I know you wanted to hear about other DJ`s, but this is a fantastic album. |

check out some of the Gatecrasher compilations, I've only heard like 7 of them but Gatecrasher Discotech (not Discotech Generation) and Gatecrasher Red (w/ATB, HH, Robert Miles, Humate) are some bada$$ ones.
-also Vandit The Sessions Vol. 3 and Nu Nrg "Freefall" are also some bada$$ albums.
These albums would fall under the epic/uplifting trance genre for the most part.
gemm.com and ebay are good places to find EDM cds. |
